Above and Beyond
Many times students would like to know how they can receive a four in Art class. Well here is one sure way to receive a four. Below there will be a list of activities which can be completed as homework. In order to receive a four you must compleate all homework. Every week something must be completed! You must be a dedicated student giving one hundred percent effort. This effort will have rewards far greater then stickers. The reward will be pride, pride in yourself and your work! Have fun and don't be afraid to ask questions.
October~
Week one~
Make a wordle.
Use words to describe yourself. Likes, dislikes, who is important in your life, who your important to. Go back to my About me page and check out what your wordle can look like.
**any words you would like to appear large you must type that word in more then once.**

*For those without a computer~simply make a wordle using paper and crayons or markers. Use many words that describ yourself and draw them in different ways and sizes.*
Week two~
Create word search using descripted words used in word:
line,straight, curved, zigzag, thick, thin, vertical, horizontal, diaganal, rought, smooth, jagged, organic, geometric, pointed, bumpy, sharp. DON'T FORGET TO COMPLEATE THE WORD SEARCH

* For those without a computer~ use different suppies to create fireworks! Look over this list of words above to help make your fireworks more interesting!!*
Week three~
Learn about Pointalisom with this site http://www.metmuseum.org/metmedia/kids-zone/start-with-art/sing-along Go to the section that says Don't Miss The Boat.
Create a small picture using the Pointalism method. Include the names of the two artists you learned about in the song.
*Those without computer~ Create a small design using the Pointalism method of art*
Week four~
Email me. The only way we are going to make this a fun year is if I know what your thinking. So let me to know how you feel about it.
Write me a four to five sentence paragraph explaining what you would like to see as homework activites and why? What would you like to learn? Create?...
No Computer? Use paper and pen and follow the same directions!!

Week four:
Go back to www.makeartfun.com go to Learn to Draw and click on lesson two Fraggle Monster Vase and complete the activity.
